Summer Appeal 2022
Young people with continence issues are often lonely and lack confidence and self-esteem.
The stigma surrounding these medical conditions means many young people miss out on social activities other children love and take for granted such as school residential trips, sleepovers, and sports days.
Earlier this year, a group of ten Young Champions reviewed how ERIC help older children and designed new resources to help others. For most of them, this was the first time they met others with similar issues. Being able to share stories and talk openly about their lives for the first time had a huge impact on their confidence and happiness.
At the end of the project, our ten champions told us wanted to be able to see each other again and to welcome others to join their group to experience the same life-changing benefits they did.
Please donate today to enable the Young Champions to continue their project so the future is brighter for more teenagers affected by continence conditions.
