ERIC welcomes second specialist nurse

We were delighted to welcome Sarah Fowler, ERIC’s second specialist children’s nurse in March this year.

This new post has been made possible with funding from the National Lottery and Sarah will be instrumental in supporting the development and growth of ERIC’s Family Services over the next three years!

Sarah says: “I am delighted to join the team at ERIC as the second ERIC Nurse. Part of my role is clinical support for the Family Services team who run the helpline, and also supporting the various research studies where ERIC is a contributor.

I am an experienced Children’s Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurse, initially working in Bristol before moving to Bath to help set up the Children’s Bladder and Bowel Service in 2008 and continued in the role for fifteen years. During this time, I also worked as a Urology Research Nurse in Bristol and completed a PhD.

My passion has always been for all things bladder and bowel – and I have met a whole team at ERIC who share this passion!”
