Talking more about poo – parent / carer event

This webinar is designed for parents and carers who have children facing challenges related to bowels.

Our aim is to give you more information about interventions that can be offered to manage ongoing bowel emptying problems and prevent soiling.

After a quick summary of how the bowel works, Brenda will explain ERIC's step by step approach (ERIC's Poo Ladder). Just like climbing up a normal ladder, a family can start at the bottom and climb one rung at a time until they reach the goal of clean pants. This session will include a demonstration of some products shown on the ladder.

We are pleased to be working in partnership with Amy Sims from Aspire Pharma who will provide some information about a suppository that is shown on the Poo Ladder, called Lecicarbon.

Timings

  • 7.00pm - Welcome and introduction to ERIC
  • 7.15pm - Understanding the basics of how bowels work
  • 7.30pm - Climbing the ladder to clean pants - using the ERIC Poo Ladder
  • 7.45pm - Aspire Pharma presentation
  • 8.00pm - Continuing to climb the ladder including demonstration of some bowel washout products
  • 8.25pm - Evaluation and close
