I am a Chartered Marketer and professional communicator with over thirty years’ strategic and operational marketing experience.

I was first introduced to the wonderful support that ERIC provides, thanks to my previous role as UK & Ireland Marketing Manager with Essity, where I had responsibility for marketing incontinence, woundcare, vascular and orthopaedic products.

Prior to my role with Essity, I held senior marketing and communications management roles within organisations including NHS Shared Business Services; PJ Care, a specialist neurological care provider directly servicing the needs of CCGs; CareShield, provider of online care quality training solutions; and British Standards Institution in the training, testing, assessment and certification business unit.

Unfortunately, over the course of my career and in my personal life I have heard too many stories of children and young adults who didn’t get the support they needed with incontinence issues, which had a long-term negative impact on their lives. I strongly believe in the need for education and support in relation to bladder and bowel conditions, whether that is provided directly to patients or to their carers.

I am delighted to be supporting ERIC as a member and Chair of the Board of Trustees.
