Bill is a consultant in clinical genetics at St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester and professor of translational genomic medicine at the University of Manchester. Over the past decade, he has worked with colleagues in urology and nephrology to discover the genetic causes of a number of rare conditions affecting the bladder and lower urinary tract. These conditions include urofacial syndrome, prune belly syndrome, megabladder and bladder exstrophy.
