Become a Volunteer Online-Shop Assistant

Purpose of role:  

Our busy online-shop is a vital source of funding, with all profits from sales going back into supporting our charitable services.  

As an ERIC volunteer online-shop assistant, you will be supporting our online-shop which supplies a wide range of continence products to families and NHS Trusts.  

You will work alongside our staff, helping with shop enquiries and orders. You will be fully trained for your role.  

We are currently looking for a volunteer to support us in our office in Bristol, on either Monday or Tuesday afternoons.  

Tasks include:   

• Unpacking deliveries and putting new stock away 
• Keeping shop records up to date on our IT systems
• Picking and packing orders to despatch to customers  
• Helping customers to choose the right products 
• Other admin tasks as appropriate for the role 

Skills and qualities:  

• Enjoy working as part of a team 
• Friendly and positive with a can-do attitude 
• Well organised, with good time management skills 
• Empathetic and non-judgmental 
• Able to use standard IT packages including MS Office 
• Able to follow ERIC’s policies, including safeguarding and confidentiality
