Healthy bladders and bowels

This course will be delivered via Zoom webinar over two half-day sessions as follows:

30th June & 7th July 2026 • 9.30 - 13.15 • via Zoom

For health care professionals new to the speciality or those requiring a full update. The course includes an in-depth look at ERIC resources and an opportunity to apply your knowledge through case studies and discussions.

Objectives

To develop understanding of promotion of healthy bladders and bowels in children
To increase knowledge of up-to-date facts on childhood bowel and bladder problems
To be clear about the importance of assessment and what tools are available
To improve knowledge of the treatments available and when to use them
To provide an understanding of the relevant NICE guidance
To increase confidence in managing these conditions in the community
To establish areas where further learning and/or experience is needed

10.40 – 11.15	Assessment and diagnosis using the Continence Assessment Form.
11.15 – 11.45	Management using the Flowchart – Constipation.

11.55 – 12.15	Management continued.

This course will be delivered via Zoom webinar.

If you are not available to watch this session live, there will be access to the recording for 1 month but you will still need to register.

We would recommend that attendees access this training from home using a personal device if at all possible. If you are intending to use an NHS computer, please check that there are no firewalls in place that will prevent you from joining a Zoom webinar.

The cost of the course is £130 per person. Please note that we can only accept payment by card through our booking system.

Cancellation policy

If written notification is received 30 days before the course, we will issue a refund. We regret that no refunds can be made on bookings cancelled less than 30 days before the course. A colleague may attend in your place rather than forfeit the full course fee.

ERIC reserves the right to cancel the course. In the unlikely event of cancellation by ERIC, course fees paid will be refunded in full
