Nocturnal Enuresis

This half day session on Nocturnal Enuresis uses the three systems approach to explore the reasons why children wet at night, with a focus on a child-orientated, evidence-based approach to treatment. The tools on the ERIC website will structure our journey through assessment and diagnosis to identifying and implementing optimal treatment.

Please note that you must have completed an ERIC Healthy Bladders & Bowels course within the last two years before booking on to this training session.

Objectives

  • To explain the different causes of night time wetting and the importance of assessment in diagnosis
  • To improve knowledge of the treatments available and when to use them
  • To provide an understanding of the relevant NICE guidance
  • To increase confidence in managing these conditions in the community
  • To establish areas where further learning and/or experience is needed

  • 10.40 - 11.15 The three systems approach – assessment using the ERIC Night Time Diary and Continence Assessment Form
  • 11.15 - 11.45 Management using the Flowchart – Night Time Wetting. Treatment options including combination treatment

Important information about this online event

This course will be delivered via Zoom webinar.

If you are not available to watch this session live, there will be access to the recording for 1 month but you will still need to register.

We would recommend that attendees access this training from home using a personal device if at all possible. If you are intending to use an NHS computer, please check that there are no firewalls in place that will prevent you from joining a Zoom webinar.

Payment information

The cost of the course is £50 per person. Please note that we can now only accept payment by card through our booking system.

If you want to pay by invoice this can be done but please note that payment by this method will cost £65 per person and we must have the purchase order document at the time of booking. Please email [email protected] if you require further information regarding invoice payments.

Cancellation policy

If written notification is received 30 days before the course, we will issue a refund. We regret that no refunds can be made on bookings cancelled less than 30 days before the course. A colleague may attend in your place rather than forfeit the full course fee.

ERIC reserves the right to cancel the course. In the unlikely event of cancellation by ERIC, course fees paid will be refunded in full
