The Psychology of Toileting: Practical Strategies That Change Behaviour

11th November 2026 • 9.30 - 13.00 • via Zoom

ERIC's  series of special interest courses for healthcare professionals.

Led by a Paediatric Psychologist, this half-day course explores tried and tested psychological techniques and tips to enhance how you relate to the children and families in your care, and how to build confidence in managing their sensitive, everyday challenges.

Sometimes toileting difficulties are not just explained by medical factors. Fear, shame, anxiety, avoidance and family interactions all influence a child's progress. This practical workshop explores the psychology behind common toileting challenges and provides evidence based strategies that professionals can use immediately.

You'll leave with practical tools that complement medical management and help families achieve lasting change.
