24th April 2025• 19.00 - 20.30 • via Zoom

Ahead of School place allocation, our Family Services Team is hosting a webinar for parents and carers to support children to be ready for school.

This webinar will guide you through top tips to help your child get ready for school, including:

  • how to spot and treat constipation and the importance of doing this before your child starts school
  • top tips for healthy bowels and bladders
  • implementing a toileting routine
  • what to do if your child holds their wee or poo in (withholding) or will only poo in a nappy
  • advice on what to do if your child isn’t toilet trained yet.
  • how to create an Individual Health care plan

One of our advisors, Sam, will talk about her own experience of supporting her child when he started school, to ensure his toileting needs were met.

We would recommend watching the recording of our Talking about wee and poo webinar before attending this event. See our helpline page on our website.

Our advisors cannot diagnose or give medical advice. Seek advice from your GP or other healthcare provider as needed.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS AIMED AT PARENTS AND CARERS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND TRAINING IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAPACITY, PLEASE SEE THE TRAINING EVENTS SHOWN ON THE PROFESSIONALS AREA OF OUR WEBSITE. THANK YOU!

Hosted by

Advisors from our Family Services Team.
