Poster presentation and abstracts

Call for Abstracts - Closing date 24th July 2024

General information

  1. Presentation type is poster presentations with the 3 best posters given the opportunity of an oral  presentation in the Plenary.
  2. Abstracts will be checked by the ERIC Professional Advisory Committee and only approved abstracts will be presented.
  3. All authors must be submitted with title, name, surname and institution.

Guidelines for submission

  1. Abstract submission will be in English only.
  2. Abstract text word limit is set to 400 words including references.
  3. Please submit all authors and allied institution details and indicate which author will present the poster.
  4. The abstract should follow a standard structure: Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Conclusions. Tables or figures may be attached.
  5. Abstracts previously published or presented at an international/national meeting will not be accepted.
  6. Please be sure that you include all necessary details before finalising your submission.
  7. Accepted abstracts will be published on our website and your submission authorises ERIC to do so.
  8. Accepted presenters will be required to register and pay the full conference fee.

Review and results

The Professional Advisory Committee will review your abstract which must be submitted by 24th July 2024 and all authors will be notified by email in September as to the outcome. The Committee will make the final decision as to the type of presentation (oral in addition to poster or poster only).

All posters must be displayed by 09:30 hours at the latest on Monday 14th October 2024.

A0 Size - 841mm wide X 1189mm Height
Orientation – PORTRAIT
Landscape format CANNOT be accommodated.

Presentation at conference

The award for the best Poster will be presented in the closing session.

Presenters are responsible for collecting their posters at the end of the conference. Unfortunately, we are not able to return posters that remain at the end of the conference.
