Talking more about wee – parent / carer event

7th November 2023 • 19.00 - 20.30 • via Zoom

This webinar is designed for parents and carers who have children facing challenges related to bladders.

Our aim is to give you more information about misbehaving bladders and ideas on how to support children who struggle to get wee in the loo.

After a quick summary of how the bladder works, we will have a look at what can go wrong for children with and without underlying conditions. This will include details of routine investigations and who may perform these. We will then move on to how to manage symptoms which will cover how overactivity is treated, how to promote bladder emptying and how to contain wetting.

We are pleased to be working in partnership with Carol Hutchings from Manfred Sauer who will discuss and demonstrate equipment to aid bladder emptying and contain leakage.

PLEASE NOTE: this free event is for parents and carers. If you are a health professional, please see our programme of training courses here.

With thanks to Manfred Sauer, sponsor of this event.
