Talking more about wee – parent / carer event

This webinar is designed for parents and carers who have children facing challenges related to bladders.

Our aim is to give you more information about misbehaving bladders and ideas on how to support children who struggle to get wee in the loo.

After a quick summary of how the bladder works, we will have a look at what can go wrong for children with and without underlying conditions. This will include details of routine investigations and who may perform these. We will then move on to how to manage symptoms which will cover how overactivity is treated, how to promote bladder emptying and how to contain wetting.

  • 7.00pm - Welcome and introduction to ERIC
  • 7.15pm - Understanding the basics of how bladders work
  • 7.30pm - What can go wrong with bladders
  • 7.45pm - Managing the symptoms
  • 8.00pm - Demonstration & real life examples
  • 8.25pm - Evaluation and close
