Virtual Roadshow – Supporting Families

Date: 6th – 9th October | via Zoom

Join the experts at ERIC for a week of webinars on bowel and bladder health, tackling the issues your children are facing and signposting you to sources of support.

If your child struggles with wee or poo, you’re not alone. Over 1.5 million children in the UK (that’s 1 in 9) are currently living a bowel or bladder issue. To help support these families and answer some of the most common questions, ERIC is hosting a week of online activities where you’ll be able to get advice and information directly from the experts.

What will I get from the sessions?

If you’ve been struggling with a wee or poo problem, these sessions are designed to offer you all the practical information you need to get the right support and treatment for your child. In these sessions you will learn:

  • What causes these issues
  • What healthy bowels and bladders look like
  • What treatment options are available
  • How these scenarios can play out in real life, using case studies
  • What you need to discuss with the healthcare and educational professionals supporting your child
  • How to advocate for your child and get the support you need
  • How to talk with your child about these issues

At every session, there will be FAQs answered by our experts, with opportunities for attendees to help focus the questions. (We do respectfully ask, however, that if you have specific concerns about your child that would merit a one-to-one conversation you contact our Helpline directly, who are there to support you, rather than doing it in these sessions).
