Dr Cleo Williamson
Dr Cleo Williamson is a highly experienced Paediatric Clinical Psychologist, specialising in the psychological care of children and young people. With over 10 years of experience working in mental and paediatric health services within the NHS, Dr Williamson has developed a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of child development and the unique psychological needs of young patients.
She completed her MSc in Child Development at University College London and went on to earn a Clinical Doctorate in Psychology from the University of East London. Her doctoral thesis focused on paediatric psychology, with a particular emphasis on rare developmental health disorders, which she explored through her work at Great Ormond Street Hospital. During her time in the hospital setting, Dr Williamson collaborated closely with a multidisciplinary team of paediatricians, surgeons, nurses, dietitians, speech and language therapists, teachers, mental health nurses, and psychiatrists. This collaborative approach enabled her to manage the full spectrum of psychological presentations in a holistic way, integrating both mental and physical health to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
Dr Williamson employs a range of therapeutic approaches in her work, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Systemic Therapy, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of each child. After a challenging experience of potty training her own son, she has developed a particular interest in gastroenterology and the psychological challenges associated with potty training, helping children and families navigate these often difficult and sensitive issues.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Williamson is the co-founder of That’s Me, a brand dedicated to creating personalised children's books that celebrate significant milestones in a child’s life. These books allow children and families to mark important achievements in a meaningful, lasting way.

Important information about this online event
This course will be delivered via Zoom webinar.
If you are not available to watch this session live, there will be access to the recording for 1 month but you will still need to register.
We would recommend that attendees access this training from home using a personal device if at all possible. If you are intending to use an NHS computer, please check that there are no firewalls in place that will prevent you from joining a Zoom webinar.

Payment information
The cost of the course is £50 per person. Please note that we can now only accept payment by card through our booking system.
If you want to pay by invoice this can be done but please note that payment by this method will cost £65 per person and we must be advised of the purchase order number at the time of booking. Please email [email protected] if you require further information regarding invoice payments.
Cancellation policy
If written notification is received 30 days before the course, we will issue a refund. We regret that no refunds can be made on bookings cancelled less than 30 days before the course. A colleague may attend in your place rather than forfeit the full course fee.
ERIC reserves the right to cancel the course. In the unlikely event of cancellation by ERIC, course fees paid will be refunded in full
